On 29 November 2020, the Kingdom of Bahrain will celebrate the “Silver Jubilee” of the Internet.
The Internet was first launched to the public in Bahrain 25 years ago. Since then, it has produced long-lasting effects on the kingdom’s transformation as a “Pioneer in the use of technology” in the entire region.

To mark Bahrain’s “Silver Jubilee” of the Internet this year and as part of the strategic direction of BIS that focuses on supporting the kingdom’s “Vision 2030,” we will be holding a special event titled “BAHRAIN INTERNET: 25 YEARS OF DIGITAL LEADERSHIP” on 29 November 2020, which will be held virtually, at 11:00 a.m. Bahrain Time.
